Sunday Showdowns will be a 1 hour ice sheet modeling a scrimmage setup to further instruct and improve game play for athletes.
Each week the Sunday Showdown sessions will rotate which age groups it is dedictaed to, in order to maximize the ability for all ages and levels to work on their game play. Due to the groups of birth years attending each session, players will be paired via their skill level and age group to best suit the level of competition they face. 6U and 8U sessions will resemble their game play with cross-ice formats. 10U/12U and 14U-19U sessions will be run full ice. Please refer to the headline for each session registration to ensure your player is with their age group. The sessions are run "drop-in" style, which means you pay as you decide to attend instead of pre-paying for multiple sessions at one time.

A 1 hour ice slot that is in a scrimmage setting with instruction to work on game play and promote competition. This is drop in style so just choose the dates that work and pay as you go. The pace of the scrimmage will be as needed due to the level of critiques made. For example, going over lining up for faceoffs, positional play, breakouts, and even off-sides. The point of these sessions is to prepare our athletes for full-ice play. 8U skaters are able to attend in this session for those that are looking for a good challenge. This weekend, CAHA Select Camp is happening so we do not anticipate 2011-2008 birth years attending both clincs or the showdown due to the camp, therefore this Showdown session is open to all ages. Again, similar age and skill level will play against each other.
